Apple is probably one of the most famous companies to date, and that’s not just because of their gadgets. The company has gained a lot of power in the entertainment industry too. In some cases, Apple had to make tough decisions to maintain their power. Apple has been accused of intentionally slowing down old iPhone models so customers would need to purchase new ones. But why would they do this? Some say it was a marketing ploy for Apple to sell more iPhones. Whatever the case may be, we still have an issue on our hands – what is airdrop apple? What is Airdrop Apple?
Airdrop apple is a new method of transferring files between iOS devices. It’s similar to Bluetooth, but it has some key differences. The main difference is that you don’t need to be in the same room as your target device. The feature allows users to transfer files over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections, which makes it easier than ever to send important documents or photos from one person to another. Plus, the process only takes a few seconds! This is great news for anyone who wants to quickly share pictures with their friends or family members without having to use email or text messaging.
How Does Airdrop Apple Work?
The first step in using A irdrop is to make sure that your device is running iOS 7.1 or later and that both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
When you want to share a photo with another person, you simply tap on the file in Photos that you want to send, then tap “Share” at the top of the screen. If this is your first time using Airdrop, you’ll need to allow it by tapping “Allow” in the upper right hand corner of the screen. When both users have allowed Airdrop, select your recipient from your list of contacts or enter their email address into the field provided. For even faster results, simply tap on their picture! Once you’ve selected a recipient, choose what type of file you’d like to send (Photos, Videos, or both) and then tap “Send” in the upper right hand corner. The file will then be sent automatically to your recipient.
How do I set up Family Sharing?
Family Sharing is a new feature that allows you to share certain Apple products with family members for free! You can share apps, books, music and even photos! How cool is that?!? To set up Family Sharing, open Settings > iCloud > Set Up Family Sharing. From there, choose if you want to invite friends or family members into your group by entering their email address or inviting them from your contacts list. Once they’ve joined the group, everyone will be able to view each others’ purchases , apps, books and more. How cool is that?!?
Family sharing can be set up for your entire family or just for some family members. You can also choose to share with only the people you approve or only those in your immediate family. For example, if you have a large family, you might want to create a group with your parents and siblings since they are likely to purchase apps, music and movies that the kids will enjoy as well. Or if you’re an aunt who buys a lot of educational toys for nieces and nephews, it might be worth setting up Family Sharing so that their parents don’t have to pay full price!
You can even use Family Sharing on devices without iOS 8 by updating iTunes on Mac or PC to version 11.1 or later and adding your family member’s Apple ID in the “Store” section of iTunes.
As for how you should set up Family Sharing, that’s entirely up to you! You can choose to share the same credit card or have each person use their own card. If you’re sharing an iPad, it may make sense for one person to be in charge of purchases so that everyone else can get a turn on the device when they need it.
If you’re giving an iOS device as a gift this holiday season, I hope this helps you decide if Family Sharing is worth setting up! Introducing iCloud Drive and iCloud Photo Library
On June 2, 2014, Apple announced the upcoming release of two new cloud storage services: iCloud Drive and iCloud Photo Library. The former is a replacement for the Documents in the Cloud feature that was introduced with iOS 5. It’s designed to let users store any type of file on their devices – including files created using third-party apps – in addition to documents created using Apple’s iWork suite. The latter is an extension of Photo Stream that lets you store all your photos on Apple’s servers, which can then be synced across all your devices running iOS 8 or later.
